The Privacy Policy described below, establishes how the consortium of the BEST PERFORMERS Project treats the personal data of its partners, staff participating in the framework of the project, external participants in the testing and validation phase of the project, external participants in the public dissemination events of the project, and visitors to our website http://www.best-performers.eu

Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?
The consortium of the BEST PERFORMERS Project is responsible for the processing of the personal data of its partners and visitors who submit a request for contact or participation at pilot tests of the resources produced, following the terms of the data protection legislation in force in the European Union (the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The consortium of the BEST PERFORMERS Project does not share the personal data provided with any other entity.

How is your personal data collected?
• the contact request form available on the website,
• any other forms and formats of data collection available on the website,
• the registration form and user profile available on the learning platform,
• the registration form for any of the public multiplier events promoted by any of the partners of the consortium,
• the participants signature list when attending any training event promoted in the framework of the project,
• the participants signature list when attending any public dissemination event promoted in the framework of the project.


For what purpose and what grounds can your personal data be used?
Your personal data will be collected and used for the specific purposes for which the data are provided namely: for stakeholders’ consultations on the appraisal of the BEST PERFORMERS results, on the production of reports to be submitted to the European Commission and/or any of the national funding body of the Erasmus+ programme (Österreichische Austauschdienst-GmbH – Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research – OeAD) and to send updates on the progress and results of the project in strict terms that you select in the consent box included in each of the online forms in this website.
Under the data protection legislation in force in the European Union (the General Regulation on Data Protection – RGPD) the use of personal data must be justified under at least one legal basis for the processing of personal data. The legal basis applicable to the collection and use of your personal data for purposes described above relating to BEST PERFORMERS Project is your consent.

  • When you have given consent to the processing of your personal data (for this purpose you will be presented with a consent form for the use of your data, which consent may subsequently be withdrawn);
  • When the treatment is necessary to fulfil the legal obligations to which the BEST PERFORMERS Project is subject;

The personal data collected may include your name, email address, type of organization of affiliation, country of residence, professional occupation, age, and/or other.

Among others, we have implemented the following:

  • Continuous monitoring of access to information technology systems to prevent, detect and prevent the misuse of your personal data.

How long do we keep your personal data?
We store your data only for the period in which the purpose for which it was collected is valid. Once the maximum period of conservation has been reached, your personal data will be irrevocably anonymised (anonymised data may be stored) or destroyed safely.
For the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, your personal data will be retained from the collection of your consent or the last contact made (whichever occurs last) and if, within this period, have not withdrawn their consent.

The exercise of these rights is subject to certain exceptions intended to safeguard the public interest (prevention or detection of crimes) or our interest (maintaining professional secrecy).
If you exercise any of these rights, we will analyse them, and we will respond, within one (1) month.
If you are unsatisfied with our use of your personal data or with our response after exercising any of these rights, in accordance with the legislation in force, you are entitled to submit a complaint to the supervisory authority (Österreichische Austauschdienst-GmbH – Austrian Agency for International Cooperation in Education and Research – OeAD)
